Art by Michael Garcia. Michael was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1980, but grew up in and lives in Austin. He’s self-taught, and studied advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. He’s been making art since he was young, and has embraced the influences in his life, like work as a graphic designer, the blogging site Tumblr and prominent pop artists, to shape his artistic vision. Edited, concise, imparting a feeling of quiet wonder, his work continues to evolve to the most honest and simple form that conveys most quiet meditative awe.
